Not sold under this name on Tesco’s website (14 October 2026). The water is now Tesco British Natural Mineral Water, 2 L still and sparkling.
Tesco’s own-label natural mineral water from the Elmhurst source near Lichfield, Staffordshire, listed on Defra’s register as Elmhurst Spring. Tesco now sells this water as Tesco British Natural Mineral Water, which also covers the Armathwaite packs. Correction, 13 October 2026: this page used to show calcium 40 mg/L and hardness 158. That is the analysis Asda prints for its own water, not Tesco’s.

Per litre: calcium 36 mg, magnesium 11.4 mg, sodium 6 mg, bicarbonate 140 mg, sulphate 7 mg, chloride 11 mg. Hardness is about 137 mg/L as CaCO₃, with dry residue 228 mg/L and pH 7.7. Bicarbonate leads and no ion stands out. Figures are from the Tesco British 2 L pack page (13 October 2026); Tesco’s old Elmhurst pages printed none. Asda prints a different analysis for its Staffordshire water, so labels for this source vary.
