Sourcy

StillBunnikNatural mineral water

Sourcy is sourced from a spring in Bunnik, on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (Utrecht Ridge) in Utrecht province, the Netherlands. The Bunnik source is described as approximately 1,250 years old. The brand was introduced in 1981 by Vrumona, a soft drinks subsidiary of Heineken (an earlier product under the name “PUR” was introduced in 1978). Until 2007, Sourcy used a source at Hoensbroek in Limburg; since then, the Bunnik spring has been the sole source. In 2023, Heineken sold Vrumona — including Sourcy — to Royal Unibrew, the Danish beverage group, for €300 million. Sourcy is described as the Netherlands’ most popular still water brand. The water holds natural mineral water status.

Sulphate (10 mg/L), chloride (16 mg/L), and sodium (10 mg/L) are all low. TDS is approximately 272 mg/L. The profile is clean and unremarkable, with hardness and alkalinity closely matched and no single ion at an unusual level.
