Mineral character
Calcium is 6 mg/L, magnesium 0 mg/L, sodium 1 mg/L, sulphate 8 mg/L, chloride 1 mg/L, and bicarbonate 17 mg/L. Hardness is 15 mg/L as CaCO₃ and TDS is approximately 35 mg/L. This is an ultra-soft water with near-zero mineralisation. The zero magnesium reading reflects the crystalline siliceous geology of the Folgefonna catchment.
