Antipodes is an artesian water bottled at source in the Wairarapa region of New Zealand’s North Island. The water is drawn from a deep artesian aquifer fed by rainfall on the Tararua Range. The brand markets itself on carbon-neutral certification and positions the product in the premium fine-dining segment in Australia and New Zealand.

Mineral character

Calcium is 3 mg/L, magnesium 2 mg/L, sodium 11 mg/L, sulphate 5 mg/L, chloride 7 mg/L, and bicarbonate 35 mg/L. Hardness is 16 mg/L as CaCO₃ and TDS is approximately 130 mg/L. The water is very soft and low in all major ions. The notes field records silica at 73 mg/L, which is high relative to most waters in the TWD database and is consistent with volcanic geology in the North Island. Silica is not captured in the standard six-ion profile.
